A special folder called Link Menu was created the first time you used Akademus. To display items in this menu, place the desired applications, alias files, or other documents into the Link Menu folder. Select an item from this menu and it will launch just as if you had double-clicked on it in the Finder.
Two documents were placed in the Link Menu folder for you. They are the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. Both of these documents were edited and formatted using the Akademus integrated word processor. You may choose to keep these documents, or discard them simply by removing them from the Link Menu folder.
Check the Akademus Public Domain Docs area of the COMPanion School Solutions CD for additional documents you may wish to include in your link menu. The Akademus Public Domain Docs area is a regular feature of our CDs, and new selections will continue to become available.
